e-cigarettes are not for people who have never smoked. they may as well try real cigarettes if they are gonna start that

e-cigarettes are merely a nicotine delivery system

nicotine in and of itself is no more harmful that caffeine

its the burning weed that gives you the tar and carcinogens

e-cigarettes still give you the nicotine without the harmful smoke from the combustion. Its just a safer way to fulfill the addiction

and there IS no second hand smoke from a e-cigarette cause there IS no smoke

thank you, Quietman, for the more detailed information.

I still wish cigarettes were never invented. Everyone I know smokes.

Do you realise how hard it is becoming for a non-smoker to find other non-smokers to date?

The only ones I have met are too far for me to have anything with.

the **** disrupter is up early today, thought I would start off with a little fun. Just poking around and working on comics on my day off and got to thinking, It's a tuesday afternoon. Most people should be at work. Obviously the people online right now don't lead the normal 9-5 lifestyle, as is the case with me. What do you all do for money.

Me? Field Engineer for an oilfield services company (I work offshore), stock trading, my website, and hoping to start selling electronic cigarettes soon.

I am currently on worker's comp. due to an on the job injury so I can be on here for short bits of time until my neck starts acting up. Otherwise I would be at the processing center for the Post Office.grumble

H.E., there is no second hand smoke, it is just a vapor that the "smoker" inhales from the cigarette, and it can be flavored instead of just nicotine smelling. (Oooops, Robin beat me to it.....I was looking up a link for you. http://www.smokingeverywhere.com/index.php

Gawd I hate work related injuries. The worst I had was a week due to an incident with a machette when I was surveying but I was going stir crazy just laying around the apartment b/c I couldn't walk.

I do a lot of lifting, pulling stretching and such at my job, so I am out for a while until it gets better. I really shouldn't even be driving that much but in order to get to the doctor I have to do it.

thank you, Eileen.

It is just my opinion and every one is entitled to one.

Anyway, Wichita Post Offices are hiring but it is not showing up on the USPS career sites. I would love that job as I love working with computers and data processing. sad

I don't get to work anymore. Going to dialysis three times a week just doesnt leave the time for it

before I got sick I was the Optics Lab Manager for a research outfit using near infrared spectroscopy to measure and quantify different chemical levels in human tissue, glucose for diabetics, alcohol levels for the Department of Transportation. even automated pap smear screening with computer automated cancerous cell detection

one cool project we were working on was a contract with Smith and Wesson to embed the system in the grip of a pistol for biometrics recognition to create a "smart gun" that would only fire for its owner

but now I just sit around and bug people on mingle

Are they hiring at that company. Sounds more exciting then sitting in a logging unit offshore watching the wiggle maker.

I wish I had a job. A year I have been applying to different places and as of yet, nada. So I am going to college full time. It doesnt pay, but it gives me a reason to get up in the morning.

I hear ya! I quit 2 jobs to help out in a "family emergency". WTFever.

Came back and now can't find a job to save my life.

So I am picking up where I left off in school and participating in medical research about Migraine Prevention.

I am retired law enforcement. I am looking to work again soon though, so it will make me semi-retired.

Nope, that show is a little bogus from what I've seen. I don't drill wells that are 3-4000 feet deep, mine are all 5mi. +
