The argument is wholly specious. By that logic, poverty doesn't exist. Death doesn't exist.

What we're really talking about is recognition of a particular conditional state. Heat is caused by molecular movement, and molecules can be induced to move at differing speeds. When the molecules slow down, it gets "colder."

The fact that we have a word we use to identify this concept, the fact that we have a general understanding of what it means, proves to me, anyway, that the condition of cold exists, at the very least in the conceptual sense.

We have refrigerators and freezers so that we can take advantage of the fact that it does exist.

The fact that there is a condition, which in and of itself is the antithesis of some other condition, in no way invalidates the "existence" of the former.

I would agree, though, that "evil" doesn't exist. "Good" and "evil" are just anthropocentric shorthand terms which have no utility outside of a wholly-human-based frame of reference.
