Topic: do you have a lot of friends?

almost all the guys i was with in boot camp are my friends,so that was around...25 - 30 i think near the end of boot camp it was fun,cause we all really bonded going up the reaper, and meeting each others families on grad day Holy cow... doing Death himself in the backdoor... that's gull. I wonder who was your drill sargeant... Satan?

excluding the people on mingle you've never met... about how many friends do you have? i.e "real life" friends i mean Currently I have zero number of friends. In 1986 I acquired my first-ever friend in my life, and I lost him to insanity, gradually, culminating in a final and irreversible rejection by him of me in 2006 or so. So of my 55 years, I lived 35 with nobody to trust, to depend on, to bounce my anger and my sorrow off, to laugh with, to laugh at (mutually), to heal my trembling heart at times, to banter with, to be soulmates. His last gesture of being a friend was that he took me to the hospital a few hours before I'd have had a heart attack. I got stents inserted, avoided a heart attack, and he really left me after that incident. But I guess I ought not to complain. After all, what greater gift can one expect from a friend than the gift of life? I had more than the average guy's lot of the help of psychiatic healers, though. ------------ I am a joker with a wry sense of humour, but this very post was and contained no joke, no hyperbole, no embellishment. Just the plain true facts.

I have about 30 friends that I see at least once a week and another 20 or so I see once a month or so. Some of you guys sound like hermits.
