The only cruise i have been on is a Booze Cruise.

This is where us Brits get on a ferry to France(which is a whole 20 miles away!) to fill a car up with cheap booze to bring back home.

Oh, yeah ...

Reminds me I have been on a cruise ...

I rode one back and forth between Sweden and Norway one brutal winter.

I stayed on an entire week, thanx to my 1st class Eurorail pass.

Sooo much fun, and it was FINE ...

The Swedes and Norges rode it as a party ship, as the booze was duty free, much cheaper than on land!!! ... drinks

Damn, they could put away and hold more liquor than anything I've ever seen on this planet!!!

Now, other planets???

That is an entirely other matter ...

That sounds like it was great fun!

I have met and drank(and even lived with) with a fair few scandaweigans in my time and i agree with you, they are a bunch of pissheads! Especially the Finnish(although im not sure they are officially scandanavian).

Yeah ... The Finnish are just as serious of drinkers, and damned depressin' when they do ...

Lived in Finland a couple of months and finally asked my friend, " Damned dude, why are y'all Sooooooo friggin' depressivo" ... ???

His answer, "We have lost 47 wars in a row to Russia and are owned by countless treaties w/ them... " ... !!! ... ohwell

Woah ... noway ... REALLY put things in perspective, somber lot they were/are ...

Finland apparantly has one of the highest suicide rates in the world. Largely due to the fact that in the north they hardly get any sunlight during the winter.

Sorry for the hijack Kristi!

Yeah ... well ... same dark as it is in the other latitudes that northern,

And their suicide rate is still so much higher ...

Think it must have a lot to do w/ that oppression of which my Finnish bud spoke ...

And, guess because of it, their standard of living was much lower that Denmark, Sweden or Norway.

Felt like I was in wartorn Russia ... They were dark!

And ... yes .... offtopic

Yeah, sorry Kristi ... our bad ... oops ... back to loverly cruise photos ... shades shades

Even though this was a vacation we did take time out on our last day and actually help make a little bit of a difference for some. On Saturday the day before we came back they had "On Deck For The Cure" which all the proceeds went to the Cancer Foundation. Which my Daughter, Sister in-law and I did walk a mile for.

Now for some a mile is nothing I have done it at home lately at times but when you add we have been on ship now for 6 days now and it is 3pm in the afternoon and I'm plastered already that mile seem to stretch forever hehehehenoway But I did finish and was not the last one close though

I have been on 6 cruises , mostly Carnival and one on Norwegian Lines.. All were great with tons of things to do. I have been on this one out of Miami, did the stingray swim in Grand Cayman and the dolphin swim in Jamiaca...They are a lot of fun and make a great family vacation as there is something for everyone!!!

Awww glad you enjoyed them it was a blast and I would suggest to anyone to go on one heck you can do a 5 day cruise for $400 plus what ever it cost you for drinks and souvenirs and of course the excursions you do off the ship. But there are so many things to do one can not even get bored we did not stop except the days at sea where we sit out on deck all day long basking in the sun and the music from the bands they had on board.
