Say Goddammit, I told you one of these days that drinking of yours is going to be the death of you, but did you listen to me? No! Just look at you, all yellow, eyes red, bruises all over, gaunt as a zombie, can't even speak coherently, vomiting all over the place. Was it worth it?

Eh, I don't love anyone, but I guess if I did I'd be supportive of them in their time of need.

The first thing I would do is make sure he/she is comfortable and then stay by their side.

Would ask them if they needed to talk to someone to make peace with them...or let someone know they had been forgiven. Then was there something they wanted me to do for them or just talk about how they felt about it all themselves.

Gosh, noone in my life like that besides my immediate family. The first thing I would do is make sure they have everything that makes them happy that I can possibly provide.

I get so depress.... It happened when my mother passed away about a year ago. I was mourning for 1 yr without seeing friends or anybody except my immediate family...so I do not know what to do if it will happen again. I hope not for a long time..... |

I would try to be calm, comforting, and let them do things the way they wanted. You get that kind of news in a couple it doesn't mean you are going to be on the same page emotionally all the time but if you really love someone you try to do the best you can to be their partner when they really need you. Hopefully there are other people in your life to help you be strong.
