IF i may add my two cents to this, please allow me.

As a combat vet in DS, I am personally against the president putting our
boys and girls into harms way by wrapping up wmds, and 9-11 in the same
package. But, at the same time, i realize that it's not the soldier's
desire to be there in the first place. I went to iraq because at the
time, i thought i was needed there. I did what was asked of me because
it was my job, and i followed orders. The thought of freedom has been
fought for, and the highest prices paid not by the people that make the
decisions, but by those that follow the orders, and get into the mix.

I guess that in my mind, it comes down to this.

Support the troops, because they support us, and keep any ill will to
yourself about that fact.

If there's any doubt about leadership, get off your keyster, and make a
difference. I, myself, joined the Patriot Guard Riders over a year ago,
and going to a 24 yr old Marine's funeral was not the first choice of
the first way of how i wanted to show my patriotism.

God bless the men and women of our(US) military, to include active
duty,reserve,national guard. May He also bless each officer that walks,
or rides a beat, each firefighter that KNOWINGLY enters a possible
deathtrap. Let me not forget the doctors, nurses,and support staff at
our nation's hospitals that have to put our sons and daughters, brothers
and sisters,
mothers and fathers back on the road to recovery when they return from
HELL.

Even though I am against our troops being there, a few years back, i was
totally offended by the actions of a certain female country western band
that went on tour and denounced OUR president on foreign soil. Do that
here,you make enemies,for sure. Do what you did where you did it? FUBAR.
your career is kaput.And justifyably so.

This was in no way meant to incite anyone. It's just me using my
freedom, paid for by millions of soldiers throughout the years, to voice
MY opinion.
