Driving, yes. Assembling something, not so much. :laugh I do better watching someone do something and then I can do it too.

Written or step by step only. If I have to remember more than two things in order it's hopeless.

unless the instructions are ambiguous and take you all around the world to explain one simple step... then yea.

I'm in IT so I lovelove directions. Maps, diagrams and instructions are my favourite. But that being said I like being able to think it through without them but they're a lifesaver.

Especially when you lose the one you needed to build the BlackBerry server and spend 7 hours trying to figure it out cuz your too srubborn to ask someone for theirsgrumble

The best students become the best teachers.

... I'm ever striving to do my best at both, giving and getting direction(s).

So, when my game is on ... I manage nicely!

FOCUSED attention is key, yes??? ...

HUm..Well I get flustered..But I try real hard before I give up..I will ask for help only when I know I need it..I feel the to try and do it my self 1st..Casue so many people think I can't or shouldn't do anything..cause of my size or my back problems.I like to prove them wrong..

When ever I attempt assembling something I always have all those "extra" little parts.... are they just spares..?

That's because they know we are the better drivers.

Driving, yea but only if they're very specific I need important structures to look for because I forget that I'm going somewhere and will quit looking for street signs lol. Assembling something.. if it has pictures yes if it has just words.. maybe lol.

I can read a map - but I would rather have a GPS bigsmile As far as building something - I give it my best shot and then usually have to call my dad or my brother...sorry - just being honest tongue2

 Nooooo, they are NOT spares! But it can get a lil confusing if the directions don't come with a diagram. I'm very mechanically inclined...& I'm very patient...besides, the job will get done sooner if I just do it the right way myself...winking

I can put anything together with directions, although I have learned that a lot of things are sent with directions that cover 3 or 4 models, and they are not always 100% correct, especially in the illustrations. I usually figure it out.

I can read a map, but if someone verbally gives me directions with more that a couple lights or turns, foget it. I bought a GPS.
