so today i realized that someone was lying to me about something pretty serious. things didnt add up. comments didnt make sense. and now... i know he's lying and don't like it one bit. i'm a bridge burner. i know its not good but if you cross me i don't allow you back in my life. what about you? do you forigve forget and welcome them back in your life? I'm very sorry, I should have told you about Santa a long time ago. I hope we can still be friends.  Seriously though, sorry that happened to you. I hope what ever happened, you get though it and heal.

There are bridges you burn and ones you just let smolder for awhile. I'm a big "wall builder" and it's stopped me from getting to know some very fantastic people. A good friend once told me that it's perfectly normail to burn bridges and build walls... then he said, "Just make sure that the important bridges are built out of concrete and that there's a gate in your walls so you can let people in from time to time."
Some things are absolutely not forgivable and some are. Unfortunately this is something quantitative and it's all relative to the person wronged. BTW...how've you been doing lately love? |
