Feedback time guys. How many of you have not asked a woman out because you just assumed she would say no?
Does fear of rejection stop you from approaching? Just want to get the male's point of view since I have a girl-brain. |

I think there are many women who don't ask men out for fear of rejection as well.

Just want to get the male's point of view since I have a girl-brain. It has never stopped me from asking. I find that situation the most fun, maybe challenging. You have to watch your every word and play the game right with a woman who you "think" is going to say no. So yes - I have approached women with the initial thought of having no chance - but it has never flat out stopped from trying to get what i want. |

unless you've already got a lot of emotional investment in a girl (or guy) which most likely isn't the case if you haven't ask her out yet, then i don't imagine rejection - if it happens - could really hurt all that much.
i guess there's the initial embarassed stage but that quickly passes and the chances of your scoring will be nil anyway if you don't try at all. at least by approaching, you have some shot at her, even if you don't think there's a hope in hell. at least that's the way i always felt about approaching a guy who catches my eye. |

I agree. I dont feel a fear of rejection with some woman I don't even know. So approaching them and at least asking I wouldnt feel a fear of rejection. Of course it's awkward for a minute if she says no- say something funny, try to make it not awkward. All you can do |

Didn't realize it was a game, or is that just a figure of speech for you? Life is like a game. We are all players in a big game. I'm trying to sell myself as a person this woman should give a chance. There are many dynamics to it that are game like. You can take it to mean something degrading or insulting - but that is not how I mean it at all. |

I look at it like this. There are two answers to every question. Therefore, you have a 50/50 chance. Don't be afraid of either answer because my only fear isn't losing, it's knowing I never even tried.

I'm not afraid to ask a man out.

The arrogant ones never assume she'll say no. Those are the ones I just looooove to shoot down. I despise an arrogant man.

Didn't take it the wrong way, that's why I asked for clarification. Good point about life being a game. It seems that way sometimes. Some will win, some will lose. |
