Nobody said Bolton?
Nobody said Cheney?
Nobody said Kissinger?
Nobody said Adlai Stevenson?

Of the three I like Bolton and Stevenson.

Carter's negotiating technique leaves a little bit to be desired. He
would give you the shirt of the United States' back.

Well Alada, there are many facts around and available regarding the gov
of N. Mexico (CURRENT) Bill Richardson.

He is half Mexican, former Ambassador to the UN, studied for years on s.
American Politics, and has been the go to man for several
Administrations.
Unfortunately he is not, nor has he been President him self, so his
authority is limited as such.

You can find and read many comments he has had regarding Americas role
in Venezuela, Cuba, Mexico, and many other South and Central American
Countries.
That is if you really care and are willing to read them. If not you-tube
has several videos of him also...

I have read them, but Im not going to go into every point on the man.
You will have to look that up your self, sorry!drinker drinker

Thank you Fanta, if you were kind enough to point me to any specific
links, beside you-tube? I rather read and re-read it, just in case a
miss something...

USA does not care about countries as Ecuador (mine), cause there is no
profit for them, as it would be in Venezuela.
Ecuador, is not even a thread. The only interest of USA in countries
like mine is imposing economic sanctions in products that they buy from
us inventing any excuse.
And selling us final products at stupid high prices.
Keeping our economy in deppresion.

He talks about all of Latin America here when he was US rep of the UN
http://www.un.int/usa/98_118.htm

This could be what he said in another Link. He talks about Chavez and
Latin America. Gives good insight to how important he thinks Latin
America is to America. Youll like this particularly.

Bill Richardson's father was an American. His mother was full blooded
Mexican. When she was close to giving birth, his dad sent her to the
US, so he would be an American Citizen. Shortly there after she took
him and returned to Mexico where he lived until he was 12. He has been
living in the US ever since. His immigration policy is wishy-washy, but
he did at one time cal a State of emergency along the N. Mex., Mexican
border and deployed the N. Mex. NG there. Im not set on him, but I love
his foreign policy and energy policy. He is worth considering, and has
already caught up in the Polls to become a front runner in the
Democratic Primaries. In N. Mex, which is divided 50-50 Rep and Dem.,
he carried 68% of the vote to become Gov.. I would say that he must have
some attraction to the Republican voters too. He is not a Clinton on
foreign Policy, he is more a Teddy Roosevelt, walk soft, carry a big
stick kind of man. Willing to negotiate, but always makes sure they
know he has a potent and powerful military to keep them honest.
