Definitely. Besides, when you really think about it, you must be really amazing if people are actually mad because you don't deal with them. And I love the idea of being amazing.blushing

Most human beings have a fear of the unknown.......... Those who do not know me, fear me. And as human nature goes if we do not know or understand something we find it a challenge and set out to either "tame" it or destroy it.

True. The only thing is I really hate doing what other people want me to do, so when someone whines about me ignoring them or only dealing with certain people, or behaving in a certain way, it only makes me want to do it more. I agree that people want to tame what bothers them, especially an unruly woman. Rawrrrrr!!!!laugh laugh laugh flowerforyou

You are all very naughty for even thinking such things!

surprised

18 years is pushing it a little bit but it is not shocking.

25 years is shocking! blushing

30+ years though is really noteworthy....

I happen to believe that age does make a difference. But it depends on the age range that truly makes the difference.

I could see a 21 year old guy with a 35 year old woman

I could see a 25 year old girl with a 40 year man.

What I (can't) see is anyone younger than 21 years old, girl or boy, with someone who could potential be they're father or mother which is gross by all means.

I mean hey look at Ashton and Demi, they're doing fine right?

So I think it's the age group that matters the most because age "can" come with experience.

So many people say age is just a number, but there's more to it. Anymore than 10 years older than me is probably too much. The bigger the age gap, the more likely we're going to be at different places in life and have less things in common. Both of which would make it hard to date.

I think it just depends on the person and the situation.

I've dated a couple of older men and had different experiences with each. One was 34 when I was 23, and he was totally immature and controlling (and creepy)!

The other was 36 when I was 21. We got along great but he wanted to settle down and I didn't at the time.

If you feel like everything fits, then go for it. There's no harm in giving things a try, unless the age difference will always make you feel uncomfortable. In that case, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment because you'll never be able to get past it.
