A long distance relationship is only worth what each person is willing
to put into it...Words don't mean alot unless at some point there is
action put behind them...Time will be the test of your relationship and
nothing else...Just like any other relationship!!!!!!!!!!

I've never been in a realationship but I honestly think that distance
should affect each other the world is your pond keep fishing like
twighlight said you might find a keeper it can be difficult but who
gives a rip distance makes each other stronger

Bucket, 1 in a 1,000. I'll be glad to payoff.
You guys have the experience & truth to make it.
I don't see the same things in most others.
Hell, I want an invite to the wedding.

They absolutely can work. First you cross paths with someone you like,
you email, chat, talk....you decide if you want to meet and sometimes
even before you do meet, you have a feeling whether or not you'll ever
want to or not. Sometimes you can start to have feelings before you
met..some say that's good, some say it's not. I've known a lot of people
from a widowed chat room that had feelings per many phone calls before
they ever met in person, and it's worked out. Not always. It does take
a lot of trust, because of the time spent apart. And eventually someone
has to think about moving. I'd say before you start one, you would need
to think about those things. But just because someone doesn't live in
your area, doesn't necessarily mean they have to be ruled out.

Just my take.

It only works if both people work at it. If only one person is working
to make it happen it will never work. Building a relationship is really
hard work. Anything less and it will fail. Personal experience.

I believe LDR's can work and do. Yes, sometimes they don't. I agree with
Native, it's all about what each person is willing to give to the
relationship. You have to be committed to each other and to making it
work. I agree meeting the person is important, but I do believe that you
can fall in love with someone before you meet them. Just my .02

Good luck to all the couples who are giving LDR a shot!

i've been in a long distance relationship with a fine lady in AZ for two
years now. We talk about twice a week and I plan to move there in the
fall..She moved there for her job. Proves if you love each other
distance does'nt matter, love and trust is the key.
