i was looking at this profile on a dating site, not this one, but any how i was just curious what he would say in return.
i get a email and he wants to make sure im a lagit and not scam, which i understand so he sends me this website call safeverifier.com
that would help limitate the bogus email and would give the name and right email addy
well i looked at it, and it ask for your bank card, even though it says they wont charge you..

is thing actually lagit, which im really leary about
and no i didnt follow through for i felt there that was or could be a scam its self

That's a 3rd party verification site (from what I understand about what your saying)...you only need that if you're sending encrypted files to each other.

So you're probably best off NOT to give out anything.

It's a scam, period ! If someone needs to verify that you are you, all you need do is show up.

It could be fun though, or, at least educational, to verify where that website ip address resides, not that that matters so much, but normally people in, say, Nigeria, don't purchase server accounts in the US.

you should assume that anybody that asks you to sign up for anything in order to talk to them is scamming you.

I say if they ask you for your bank info and state they wont charge (then they dont need the info JMO)that alone is a red flag unless you are purchasing something from a site you know about.

Nowhere on my computer is there any personal info about me (real name, address ect) and no site will ever get my info even my bank won't have my info if they require anything I will go to the bank in person and give it. Call me paranoid but that's how I am.
