Redd...do you have access to a vid cam? If so, tape the lil azzholes when they're teasing Mojo...several times if you can...& take it the the SPCA or Humane Society...those groups don't take kindly towards people hurting animals... I thought bout doin this very thing but turnin the tape into the juvenile officer here in town an pressin charges against the kids. Let em sit in juvy hall for a few days.

Do what I did a few years back...saw two kids in my ally (when I lived in town) throwing rocks at my dog who was trying to hide....I came up behind them....grabbed each of the little b@st@rds by the hair and cussed at them like they were adults....then I threatened to give them the beating that thier worthless piece of sh.. parents never did if I ever saw them near my house again. Go figure...never saw either of the little scamps anywhere near my street after that.

Buy a pitbull from Michael Vick, don't let anyone know you have it then when the kids tease Mojo let the pit loose  I had a purebred American Staffordshire stolen outta my yard a few years ago. Any kind of pit anything ends up missin in this town. This town has a serious problem with dog fightin that the police can't seem to get a handle on. police are probably in on it. However, if the police aren't complete schmucks, this is what I'd do. The dog is your legal property. I'd film them damaging your legal property. Then I'd call the police and file charges. Failing that, I'd get a lawyer and sue. |

Even if those kids teased the dog, if he did anything you would have to put it down....I wouldnt take the chance on my pets life. Believe it or not, I checked on the MS laws concernin dog bites. There's a 'one bite free' law here in MS, long as shots are up to date. I'd seriously never let her loose. I'm one of the few people in my neighborhood that actually abides by the leash law. I just get so sick an tired of havin to go out an yell at a group of kids who're standin across the street, chunkin rocks at her or yellin an screamin at her. An don't tell me go tell the parents. Been there, done that, doesn't work. I've tried to educate these kids but they seem to be stoopier than a dang box of rocks. The only time she goes out on her lead is to take care of business an to get some fresh air. It seems she doesn't have a moment's peace unless school is in.  tall the cops on the kids and file a formal complaint get a paper trail going |

I'd love to put her in a fenced yard to run free. Cause long as there's "Beware Of Dog" signs up, she's up to date on shots an the fence is at least 6 ft high, an someone gets into the yard, she's free to take a chunk of em. I had been takin her out to the back an lettin her do her business there an get her fresh air, but they teased her back there also. I'm tellin ya, the kids in this neighborhood are dumb as all hEll or they've got a death wish. |

I just enjoy the thought of one day bein gone from this neighborhood, it's gone to hEll in a handbasket the last few years. I'm gonna get out in the country where I can let the dogs run an ain't gotta worry about neighborhood kids.
With school back in, I'm able to let her outside an not have to worry bout anyone botherin her. It's really only on the late afternoons an weekends that I can only leave her out there for a few minutes. I was just curious if anyone else has a similiar problem. |

In all honesty, just lettin my imagination go an thinkin bout her gettin a hold of one of em on the behind makes me feel better. She did get loose one time an chased one clear across the road into the parkin lot an he jumped in the back of a pickup to get away from her. It was hilarious to watch the kids scatter. I was screamin for her but gigglin my behind off on the inside.
