I had a white Chow Chow that I loved. I had a new house and we didn't have a fence up yet so I tied my dog up in the front yard for a little while each day.

I caught little boys throwing rocks at my dog. He was tied up and couldn't get away from them.

So MS isn't the only state with stoopid kids then? I just don't understand the mindset of a kid that does such things. Gotta be the upbringin. My kids would never do such a thing. They love dogs. I have a hard time tryin to convince them they can't go up to every dog they see an pet it. ohwell

To let my 100 lb German Sheppard loose upon the neighborhood kids so she can extract her revenge from their behinds for teasin her????bigsmile

Footnote: I'd never really do this but sometimes I'm really temptedpitchfork

I do understand. I had to chase the kids away from doing the same to my dog. I told them she can jump the fence so you had better leave her alone. That scared them off. But in reality, she could jump the fence so I had to put her on a tie line because of those little *****. I was pissed.

I don't understand how people can hurt animals. I think it starts at home, too, unless the child is mental. I knew somebody in high school that tortured animals. Well..he's not right as an adult either.

My child is that same way as your kids. I have to remind my child to not pet animals that they don't know. If my child had their way, we would have way toooo many pets.

I've told these kids time an again that if she really wanted to get ahold of them she will. She's now on her third yard stake, third tie out cable ( yes cable not chain ) an 4th collar. I know now to keep on eye on her when she's outside. These kids are soooooooo stooooopid that years ago when I first moved here they did the same thing to my 160 lb. St. Bernard!
