AGING:

It cannot be escaped, I am getting older. I see people around me getting older, too. I see the ratio of “Yes! That was exhilarating!” to “Ouch. I’m in pain.” getting smaller and smaller every year. You just can’t stop the aging process.

But you can retain the exhilaration if you wish. You can decide to celebrate everything good – all that you do, all that you see, all that you fell – all the time. And you can decide to do the things you most want to do, the things that will make you most proud to be you.

Do good things. Think positive thoughts. Age gracefully.

HAVE A GOOD DAY OF PEACE AND HAPPINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll do my best to stay upbeat and positive, but it's getting harder all the time. Don't forget the classic image of an old man is him sitting on a porch yelling at the whippersnappers!!!

Getting older has never bothered me. It seems now that I'm here I see things in a different perceptive things that I once thought was so important no longer mattered and those things I thought I could put off all of a sudden are the things I enjoy more with each passing day......................bigsmile

It is no longer the bigger things I cherish but instead those things that I thought did not amount to much..........are what brings a smile to my face.........bigsmile

As I get older the only thing that I am less tolerant of are people who refuse to grow, or learn from their experiences of any age.

I find it survival to posess these skills, even more of a survival issue for me to stay ahead of the game, and surround myself with individuals who posess the same skills as myself.

I have taken this situation, and turnred it into something positive, by reaching out to people in my community, and sharing my experience, strength, and hope with other individuals who need it.

My best bet I have found, was to not take that home into my own life closely, but at a distance.

In my personal life I try my best to surround myself closely with people who are at, or where I am, or want to be. Not where I was.

In aging I have found a problem solving ability, and grace to handle stress, and tough situations that is an absoloute blessing.

Thank God for aging, I would never want to be a teen again, or go back to a younger age ever. It is far more rewarding being able to have wisdom, and understand things without the frustration of youth. I can relax with an understanding that is absoloutely reassuring.

The challenge of staying in good physical shape is present, but can be handled easily if one is watchful.

Age gracefully??????

NO NO NO

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

When I turned 30 I cried like a big baby. When I turned 40 I had a party! I feel that I'm only as old as I feel. I'd never want to turn back the clock. I'm complimented all the time for lookin younger than my years. I thank good genetics for that. bigsmile

I look back and I see what a punk I was until I was around 35 and I wonder how I survived

if I had a choice on what age to be forever I would pick right now. 50 is about just right

you're only young once but you can be childish and immature your whole life

I'll be mellow when I am dead!

I will probably still be chasing tail when I am 80.

When I can't, its over for me!
