As far as the legs go, once it gets past being picky and scratchy it's really not so bad.
Hairy pits are a different story. |

Hair implants on the chest of men are up significantly. The hairless chest thing is no longer in vogue.
As for the genitals... give me a woman not a prepubescent.... |

I was at work today and saw a woman with hairy arms. Not just, "Oh, I see hair on your arms," but, "Whoa Nellie!!! That's a lot of hair on your arms!! " It was thick too. I had to ignore what I saw and put on a smiling face.

No thank you. How can you not have enough respect for yourself to take care of some basic things. It's like men who have giant grizzly adams beards.

Hair implants on the chest of men are up significantly. The hairless chest thing is no longer in vogue. As for the genitals... give me a woman not a prepubescent.... This is not necessarily true. I think a lot depends on the geographical location. Go to any beach in LA or San Diego. Most men are bare chested. Hair doesn't make the person a MAN or a WOMAN -- hair is only 'growth'. Character makes a man's or a woman's worth. Is a hairy chested man more honest, loyal or hard-working than a hairless man? Who knows but it's about intergrity and not hair. Grooming is esthetics and not the fiber of a person's soul. It's personal preference. As a modern society, most people groom themselves from the ugly. We all have our opinions. The good news is, we can date whom ever we want –- fur ball or not! I’ll take the smooth, hairy variety. |

I am laughing at myself right now. This is an inane topic for me to get all riled up about -- but I realize it's not the topic per se but the attitude people have about 'hair' defining an adult. Yes, the body is mature but not necessarily the mind. Hairy does not mean strong, stable, protector, manly or anything else. It means a body is grown up, and depending on genetics and nationality, it also might mean more hair. How is that a platform for maturity? It’s not any more of a valid point than this statement: “When a woman starts her period she is mature enough to have children." or "When a couple marries they are ready to start a family.” I'm going to start drinking early this week. |

It is amuseing how so many seem to dislike the body they have. Shaveing, bleaching, roasting (tanning), sanding, chemically burning, sliceing, sucking, and various bindings while they strain, run to exhaustion, rub on stuff, snort, smoke, and swallow things never ment for human consumption.
I don't know if they think they can out run the ageing process or that somehow removeing hair is going to make them sweat/smell less or wrinkle less. Hair is a natural protection of the skin and delicate body tissues. If it is not shaved it generally remains light and softer. It has a necessary purpose and shaving it can create a host of health issues. Not all men and woman see American beauty standards as appealing or even normal. The way some women and men strip their body hair is eerily reminencent of what was done to Natzi POW's and by Skinheads and gang members to submit to the expected persona. What is interesting is up until as little as forty years ago for American women to shave their legs; especially above the knee was considered only something prisoner's and prostitutes did to prevent transference of STD's and body parasites or to look younger. This is a beauty ideal that was largely promoted by television and a cosmetic industry. So rather than what you like and find sexy is pretty much what you have been brainwashed to like. |

i shave everything, pits too, but that is my preference and mine alone, but i like women with..... and without hair. trimmed is nicer if they have a lot of hair though, i must agree, for if not, and it's that long, they don't make gentle rain-forest machete's for mound hair, and i get tired of pulling stuff that long from my teeth every twenty minutes, and if it inhibits my hours of pleasure, and i can't concentrate on what i'm doing, and get my mouthgasms,(yes, my mouth cumss, don't ask).... i have a very tiny, painless battery operated lawnmower.

Im completely bald now from head to toe,(from chemo)....
Its alot less labor, since ive always believed that bald is beautiful in private areas of your body. And I never ever have a bad hair day now! |

i have no problem with German or French women...
everything in moderation tho.... |

I am sorry but I have to step in and tell almost everyone in here to take a step back and educate themselves on something (not trying to be rude, but its the truth).
The amount of hair on a persons body, man, or woman doesn't matter, has absolutely nothing to do with hygiene; no. It doesn't, and this is a medical fact. For the comment about being unhygenic to have a "grizzly-adams beard" is nothing but nonsense. Same thing goes for women. A woman who shaves her nether regions is not necessarily cleaner than one who doesn't. What is unhealthy is not keeping said hair CLEAN. Yes there are personal preferances to attraction. However those preferances have absolutely nothing to do with whether or not a person is clean, so I ask that EVERYONE who has thought in the past that it odes, take a step back and if you dont believe me, then at least give me the benefit of the doubt to look it up and find out for yourself that five foot long lengths of body hair is not a sign of bad hygiene. Ok, done with my rant, you can all carry on now |

Funny you mention Southern California. Last night I saw a story on the tv(I know consider the source) about Plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills.....The Biggest percentage growth for males getting Plastic Surgery has been in Hair Transplants to the chest....Perhaps, the large increase is due to the (previously low numbers. ....??
I'll bet the hairless trend is subsiding......like all "trends".... Gone today, Hair tomorrow Hair implants on the chest of men are up significantly. The hairless chest thing is no longer in vogue.
