Topic: Current Administration Progress. What really has been accomp | |

I cant understand how anybody that voted for Obama could possibly "Strongly approve" of the way Obama is doing.
Some people say they have nothing to criticize him for after almost 9 months in office. Come on here everyday praising him. I wonder if some on here are paid by the DNC. Tell us what he has done specifically aside from; He closed gitmo! oh wait... He was going to stop tribunals... oh wait... He was going to release the CIA torture photos... oh wait... He cut taxes to 95% of Americans... oh wait... He decreased the deficit.... oh wait.... He ended the war in Iraq... oh wait.... What other progress has he made? |

Tell me what other presidents promised to do that they actually did, ever, let alone in their first nine months. It's not a matter of having gotten it done or not having gotten it done. I think the OP was trying to say that all those things he said he was going to fix, he's gone and made that much worse with what he's done already. ergo, the question gets translated as "what makes you think anything he's going to do in the future is going to make those things any better if he doesn't change his philosophy on how it's to be fixed?". Stimulus didn't work? more stimulus! Cash4Clunkers program running foul? make it triple the original size! that'll fix it! Inflation getting a little unruly? Authorize the treasury to take on more debt! Wall St. got you down? Print a trillion in cash and throw into the pit of wallstreet. |

As a supporter of Obama, I can only say at this point I am tired of your whining. I guess if your life is that miserable all you can do is repeat the same old crapola.
Have a good one, I'm off to live my life and be as productive as I can be. But when I return I imagine you'll have repeated the same old rants of the last 6 months. |

I call it shining the true light. Best to ya' in your ventures. I am just attempting to validate BHO. So far, he's not been worth what he's paid and noone has added any act of his that has actually been of lasting benifit to our country. Far as people see, all he's manage to do is drive us farther in debt. What do you see?? |

Bush will stay gone. The balance of pro vs. con on the current admin. ability to better our nation weighs mighty heavy on the con side, even here on Mingle2. Nothing more to offer up on what good they are doing? |

My personal opinions is that it's far too soon to make any kind of jusdgment calls on the last effects of his actions. This country did not get itself into this mess in 9 months, it will take far longer than 9 months to get out of it. Also, many economic policies appear "bad" on the surface but it's only way down the road can you really judge the effectiveness (or lack thereof). History shows this time and time again. Most of what he's doing now won't have any long-term effects (positive or negative) until long after he's out of office, whether that's 4 or 8 years.
All we can do is wait and see. If you are really opposed to what he's doing, which I can respect, then get up off your computer chair, get out in the real world and find a way to take action that will help conform policy and government to your beliefs. So many people want to *****, moan and complain, yet so few do anything concrete with it. |

Issuing an executive order to stop prosecuting medical marijuana patients in those states where it is legal. I suppose the Cartels are happy with that decision. |
