Hi, I'm episcopal. I consider myself to be spiritual, but I'm very open-minded and, honestly, just enjoy pondering the big ideas. The people that are so set in their beliefs and get angry at people who disagree scare me a little ;)

Anyone else feel like me?

I'm curious about the thread title. What difference does it make? If they believe that they are sinners & have fallen short of pleasing God & acknowledges that God sent Himself, as His son in human form, to die for our sins & be resurrected by God because He was found worthy & now is seated at the right-hand of God & is the judge of all, what else do you need to know? Everything else is just superfluous.

As far as anger issues with scripture disagreement, it's wrong & wrong headed thinking. Only Jesus had the right to be angry with the Jewish leaders of His day because, as teachers of the Law they should know better, but didn't do so. Arguing never converts anyone. I know this the hard way from personal experience.

there is a reason there are denominations. Right or wrong, like-minded people get together. it is hard to mesh some of the demoninations together.

But, is that what God intended? Are there so many denominations because they are necessary or because of someone's pride, ego & pigheadedness? A house divided can not stand. Find the common ground not the dissimilarities.

I am Luthern...originally...I am very open minded and love God..Lately I have been atending a Baptist church. I have no problem voicing my opinion on what I believe. I think there is a way presenting those who do not beleive the gift of salvation. I you would like to talk more I this I would be more than will to share with you. Also, I would like to know more about what you beleive as a Episcopal.

My question on this website is, are there ANY Christian men left? I don't mean in name only, but an active Christian? The ones looking for a Christian woman find her and believe her to be too "churchy". How is that so??
