can someone post an example (not from this site)?

i always touch up the colour and brightness levels of my own individual pictures and want to see how different that is.

I don't know how to do that.

I had insomnia last night

So

I perved hundreds of profiles. (sorry)

Why. Oh why.

Do these women photoshop themselves that way? It's incredible

They draw on their eyes. The skin dosent match. No two pics look the same. It's crazy

Now what if they meet a man. The man will meet someone total diff. Then what was put out there!

Why do they do it????

This is all under the assumption that they are looking for mates, correct? Photoshop could have been done to remove smudge, smear, incorrect lighting, blemish, pimple, so many reasons... who knows why they do it?

Interesting. I started a thread about this about 9 months ago and was jumped on for being too sensitive.

This kind of thing has always been a major issue for me. Especially since I had my girls. I don't want them to grow up trying to live up to some unattainable standard of beauty.

Me too

But I feel so bad when a man/woman believes it's this person
Then they meet and it's not. Or the ones who do it and the men swarm around
Do they get off on this. Are they sitting home gigglng and laughing

Ahh...I don't really care how people want to portray themselves...it's their gig & doesn't really affect me one way or the other... I've seen photoshopped pix, obvious fake pix...blurry or softened pix...if that's how they want to present themselves, who really cares? Just sayin'...

Yes. They do it for the same reason people commit vandalism. It's just fun for them.

It's funny

The other day I said to my man

Go on this forum and look at this girl. She's beautiful

He starts laughing

Says: "obvious photoshop. Points everything out to me

I was telling her she's beautiful!! Felt like an idiot!

There were some photos not shopped, still pretty, but way too tan! You can tell its shopped b/c the face was a different color then her body!

My thing is... I believe (hopefully) that I will be one of the women that ages gracefully. What I mean is... I probably won't dye my hair or get cosmetic surgery or try to scrap beauty out of a bottle.

I haven't dyed my hair in almost 7 years. I like my natural color to stay natural. I have been blessed to appear a little younger than my age. I am far from perfect, but I hope that inner beauty shines.
