Maybe she just isn't comfortable caring on in public with a married man. Your wife catches her letting you love up on her she is likely to get hurt and she knows it. I'm seperated and the divorce is underway and my girlfriend knows about that. Yea but that would make me a little nervous. I like to show my affection to a girlfriend but she tells me that she feels uncomfortable showing me her affection towards me and thats just how she is... I think she's just not used to this, is there a chance for her to change with time? Possibly, with the right supports and patience; but, depending on her age, her personality, and the circumstances of her life, there is a chance she won't. If she is open to change, try to help her discover why she is uncomfortable, then work with that. Some people don't like kissing, holding hands, or hugging, and especially not in public.
