im so tired of all this coddling to a few people who are offended by God. why should the majority of people who trust in a God have to make sacrifices constantly?? what exactly are you sacrificing if they take that off the dollar? maybe with the money they save on ink they can give a nice donation to your church. *grins* kinda like when i was growing up in schoo; we said the pledge of allegiance every morning. then all at once, they took it away because of the line, one nation under God. kinda like the 10 commandments on the courthouse. i forget where it was but they were made to take them down. too much of this not wanting to piss anyone off and screw the good people who appreciate these little things |

It should be deleted.
Now if they could list all possible gods now and future and list a non god on it so that they are respecting all then they could leave it there. It is disrespectful to not include everyone's god or lack of. Because the numbers of Christian's, as well as the percentages of the world and even the USA population, are declineing consistently. As a Christian I want to protect my right to be a Christian. I see keeping the state, which is pretty much ruled by majority, out of promoteing the religion of the majority. Which seems to be not having a religion. That really scares me. Yes many bad things are done in the name of religion but the reality is religion is the driving force behind most charities and mores that protect mankind. |

Since the term GOD has many definitions I don't have a problem in it being on Money. I am a staunch supporter of Church and State because I want to pick the God I pray to. While I believe I am expected to tithe I don't think anything was said that taxes counted towards that. If those who believe in their God want to promote him then do it out of their own pocket on their own Property just like I do. I agree. I did not mean to offend. ....  Didn't offend me. Probably more money is spent directly or indirectly in the pursuit of sex that much else. |

No we should not take it off, and if this is bothering someone, with all the big issues going on right now, then so help that group of anal people, we need to take care of healthcare, troops in Iraq, and the national deficit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's part of the problem with this country, God is out of everything...!!!!!!!!! Honestly, God will be the end of this country. Religion has already segregated the population, it is already affecting political measures and what our government is doing it is doing in light of religion. Personally, I think religion needs to get off its high horse and realize that just because God said it was the law does not mean the masses need God's law. Religion is created by people and people are the problem. Not God!!! |

I don't believe in god but I will vote no. I am a traditionalist so I believe it would be wrong to take it off.
