I don't care for Danielle Steele at all. I've never read anything by Nora Roberts. Do you like her? I thoroughly enjoyed all the historical romance novels by Mary Jo Putney. Very good books.

I haven't read any Romance Novels to tell you the truth, but I am considering to give it a try. I have alot of romance movies though. I am wondering which ones would be good to read.

Danielle Steele I have one movie on her and Nora Roberts has over 100 novels written. Now that is amazing.

The ones you mention I will have to google and find out what they are all about.

absolutley not.

but i do freakin love Christina Dodd. she's hands down one of the best romance writers out there. I cannot stop picking up her books. I've read almost everything she's written. I love her mysteries and strangely enough, I even like the regencies even though i hate regencies. LOL

honey i can talk books in fantasy romance and scifi all damned night.

I've read some Nora Rberts. Her historical romance aren't bad...

Julie Garwood's The Gift was my favourite romance book ever. And if you like romance with pirates and gun fights then she's wicked. Someone gets maimed, someone else gets laid. Good stuff.

Blood and Chocolate is another romance I LOVE. I just read it again after 10 yrs and it's better than I remember. Werewolves. 100 times better than Twilight was.

The Notebook too.

***I misspelled Blood cuz I type too fastblushing

I think fantasy romance would be great to read.

Julie Garwood's with pirates sounds good!

Clood and Chocolate with werewolves sounds like a winner!

Christina Dodd sounds like it could be good too.

Well I certainly have a few authors to look up now. Thanks for the info. I am not so lost anymore. laugh drinker

I'd like to read more romantic fantasy novels... I can't seem to find many anymore.

Anne MacCaffery did The Rowan and Damia that were very good. About Telepaths from other worlds. And her Dragonriders of Pern were amazing to me when I was a kid.

Nora Roberts did a romance about time traveller's that wasn't bad... Now and Again I think? But really more sappy romance than fantasy.

Well, as a man I don't tend to read a classic "romance novel." However, since the topic is just the most romantic book I've read...

I'm going with Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins.

Am I the only one that finished that book and went "theres some time I'll never get back." Of course I think that Faulkner's Sound and Fury should be the solid base of any good book burning (now there's a piece of trash that keeps getting reprinted)
