7 lbs.

I am sick. Having a meltdown. Don't know if I'll make it through the week, I give myself a week.

Hope my new religions still fit.

Hmm, that could be it too...No need to freak out about this one. If you want to lose the weight drink water and eat just apples for a day...It really works

I've gained 15 lbs this month alone.
I think it's those new pills I'm taking.
Male enhancement pills. Wow!

I tried that once ... got sooooooo sick from all of the artificial flavorings, preservatives and copious amounts of aspartame ... completely screwed up my endocrine system ...

Buyer beware ... it is not for everyone ...

well so far so good-I have to eat small amounts of protein and veggies along with their food...and no bad effects to speak of:smile:

I went to NutriSystem in the early 90's! I didn't eat their food, but I went to the meetings for support and learned about calories. Did 1200 cal/day, walked regularly, lost 2 lbs a week for a total of 75lbs. And it's still off, but I continued to eat well and exercise. You have to find a way of dealing with food that you can stick to for life. Just has to be worth it to you.

Stress definitely causes the body to go wacky and you can put on alot of pounds. The only safe way to lose it is to eat a balanced meal everyday and exercise. Go to the gym, run, walk, hike do something at least 3 days a week that gets your blood pumping and your heart pounding.

Then balance your food with mostly white meat, baked or broiled, lots of veggies also Fish such as Halibut and Tilapia help to promote a healthy metabolism due to the high amounts of Omega 3 fatty acid.

Stay away from junk food, soda, caffiene and fast food. Also might want to limit your calorie intake to no more than 1500 per day.

Gaining weight too quickly is hard to take. After, starting in 2004, losing 160 lbs, slowly, healthily and keeping it off, I have had a very hard reality since Dec. My thyroid went in a rage due to Hashimoto's disease. It is an autoimmune disease that attacks the thyroid, causing hypothyroidism. I have gained 60 lbs back, am sick over it. There is much more that goes with it. My point is, do not take lightly the changes your body experiences.Find help, a naturopath is my choice at this time for an overall view of healthier options.

If you are gaining weight it is time to up your activity level.
******************************************************************

Streach and flex arms legs fingers and toes at LEAST once every hour for at least five minutes. Get off your bu*t to do it.

Walk to where ever you have lunch and do NOT eat at your desk or computer.

Get a water bottle or thermal mug.

Switch to sugar free/caffine free drinks. Lot of times you are thirsty not hungry.

Take the batteries out of the remote.

Park at the far end of the parking lot or a block shy of work.

Climb at least one flight of stairs a day.

Take a dance or sports class. It is a lot more fun once you know how.

Go outside with the kids.

Push a wheel chair somewhere.

Ride your bike for local errands.

Vacume and dust every day. Wipe down your shower everyday.

Refinish or sand and paint a piece of furniture or wood surface in your home.

Have sex; even if it is with yourself.

Exercise in water somewhere once a week. YWCA has slideing scale memberships. So do many Easter Seals pools. Even part time students can use campus facilities dirt cheap.

Join a church facility/grounds keeping committee.

Plant a garden; still time for late summer crops.

Wash and detail your car.

Volunteer anywhere.

Go visit friends or relatives.

Shop at open markets. Mall walk one morning/night a week.

Carry a backpack. Hand weights. (Water bottles or canned goods),

Play with a pet; bath or other wise groom the pet.

Decorate your home for the holidays.

Buy a crock pot so you come home to real food rather than fast food.

Learn self defense.
