Disagree, now maybe we can get some real agreement on reform. The public option has bogged down the whole debate.

I like the idea of fixing what we have
not creating a whole new system Obama had some good ideas but once congress gets a hold of it they will turn into a pile of earmarks for special interests and screw it all up lets just concentrate on whats wrong with the system we got |

Quiet
Yes if they do it and just dont talk about it!!!! All I have heard is cutting medicare and well I showed you what would happen!!! The thing that PISS's me off most about this administration is where is the talk about a SOUND energy plan. With the prices of gas during the GWB administration that too should be top priority along with healthcare!!! GAS will go back up and drain the economy again!!!!! T Boone Pickens????? |

T Boone Pickens is kinda handing off his project to other people. Commercial interests and venture capitalists. He is 82 and just cant really keep up with it anymore
and like he says "I'm 82. Its not my problem. I'll be dead soon. It's YOUR problem and you have to take it on. Or not. Its up to you" |

I wish that they would have tried to make it better instead of dropping it. Hey Winx How does one make it better with the Tsunami of anxiety and fear against it. We don't even clearly know how many people are for or against it. Unless you believe polls, I don't. Even if polls proved that Obama's plan was winning I wouldn't accept that as anything but politics. |

It's called convictions...principles...if the healthcare system is in crisis as Obama says...then you fight for what you believe in to the very end...I mean...don't blame we Republicans...we don't have the votes to stop anything...his own party sunk his butt !...

Excuse me but republicans don't need votes to stop anything, they only need misinformation and fear tactics and deception, something the republican are very good at and the Blue dogs have employed on the democratic side. They manage to get their so called death panel provision off the table, and it's clear their tactics are working on the public plan, just as they hoped it would, and they got the public, whether informed or uninformed to play into their tactics and to spread the misinformation. But whats even more interesting is that even after debunking from every avenue they still have the balls to speak the same misinformation when questioned by reporters and even after it's been taken off the table. They know fear works, just ask any preacher how he gets people to believe his rhetoric. |

I don't know how one can make it better when others spread lies and put spins of false rumors on situations. I used to think that people wanted things to get better but I'm seeing that some don't. Why else would they be spreading lies and false rumors and creating fear with those? |

There have been thousands of lilly white preachers scaming the public for hundreds of years. Wright wouldn't be any different in that sense. Just let's stop pretending that the right or the left for that matter needs votes if they can shut something down with the age old trick of FEAR. Gullible people are easy to govern. |
