I'm new to the Columbus area and looking to meet people in the local area.

Good luck with that. I have found that the typical mingle person doesn't usually cruise the local threads, if any at all. I think they think that the "mingle matches" are going to do all of the work for them. I found dialoging with folks in the forums/threads has been more productive & fun.

It seems the participation in the local threads is particularly bad here in C-bus. I have tried a couple of times to get some forum going & they died big time. Don't know if I wasn't weird enough, young enough or what.

I stopped checking to see if anyone replied.. Sorry! So Columbus is boring for me.. Tomorrow is my birthday woohooo not really.. no big plans for it. Ill probably be home working on school work all night.. I could take the three hour drive home but I'm not sure I want to.

Mixed feelings. Gambling has more bad than good associated with it. The local economy will get a shot in the arm. The worst part about it is that the Ohio constitution was amended to bring this thing to life. Not what it's intended usage. You noticed that anytime they want to make a change they have amend the constitution. Bad idea.
