Pinks and blues
What pleasant hues Round and round He paints Head and toes Blue little nose A paint covered Little saint Mommy running Circles round Whoa watch The carpets Oh the doors Laughing giggling Having fun Watching paint Dipping once more Dotting dragging Paintbrush finale Quickly opening Mommy screams Put that down Oh my gosh It's Leonardos Painted baby Jamboree in jeans Covered dripping Mommy picking Immersing in the tub Scrub a dub A great big splash Cleaning mommy A great big hug A masterpiece Hangs drying Little fingers Carry on To play upon His mommy's heart Rainbowed dreams Not slumbering long SDF 8/12/09 This is written for my adopted son, Noah who was born with Down syndrome. Boy oh boy how he loves to paint... we both were covered in it. Today his real masterpiece was his paint covered feet and hands! |

((kc)) Thank you
((kristy)) I'm a lil biased... he IS a doll. You are also a gem to us. Thank you. ((Denise)) Nice to see you here. You're right I have been SO blessed. ((pkd)) Yes painting with Noah is bliss. And it can be quite funny when he opens the paint and doesnt' have the paint exactly up right and I'm reaching to try and help him, but he's stubborn and wants to do it ALL himself. Mr Independent, lol |
