in todays world,a guy has to have money to get the girl.women are more materialistic now than they used to be This is complete BS! Money is nothing more than an outward indicator of something deeper. Confidence, assertiveness, ambition, A passion for something, etc. These are attractive qualities if he has money or not.

IMHO it's much more important for a man to be fun, interesting and know how to show a woman a good time. It doesn't matter if he spends $5 on a date or $500. If she has fun she will want to go out a second time. Moreover, if a man spends too much on a date the woman may think he's trying to buy her or trying too hard to impress her. A walk in the park and a snowcone can be a great date!

Love without money does not work. Hmmm...we are in a huge economic downturn and think any reasonable person understands that. I think this goes for dating too. Maybe a less expensive restaurant or dinner at home. Maybe renting a movie instead of going to the movies etc. Common sense. Nothing to do with love.

Money is ensential in this age. Hw do you express love when you donot ve money. Action they say speaks louder than voice and ladies of this generation like that expression alot. It means if u dont ve money you cant get a pretty lady cos how do you maintain her beauty. You ll definately loss her to another. this is just soooo wrong why do you have to have money to express your feeling for someone you trully love? one has nothing to do with the other! if the person on the other side shares the same feelings for you, they wouldnt care what the two of you do, if you take them to fancy places or buy them expensive gifts. if they do care about that, and that is something of big importance to them, then that is NOT true love. When I am in love, i dont care what we do, how much money he has or what he buys me, I am happy cuddling on the couch watching a good movie (may be spend a few dollars on popcorn :) ), going out for a walk in the evening. I dont care if he buys me things or not, id be happy with a card he picked up for no reason at all, or a flower he stole from someone's garden lol I would agree with this. If the OP thinks that he has to have money to buy stuff to express his love, then he is very confused on the concept of love itself.
