Topic: Have you ever (How could you)? | |
---|---|
Taken in the beauty of the sun upon the grass,
Along the skyline of the Redwood trees, Sang at the top of your lungs to the rainy day, Danced along the river to the song in your mind, Lived just to live, existing just to exist. Have you ever dropped all inhibitions for fun, Walked the canyon or along a rocky backdrop, The sun being your only guide and wind funneling movement, Have you ever been, will you go, you should of went. Starry sky, cloudy night, Breeze in the air, this is our share. The apocalypse horizon on the brink, We have and will destroy what this is, The beauty will be charred remains, Of what was, could have been, and might be. Take in the high ash cloud of our demise, Along the skyline of dust and fire, Sing a song it doesn't matter anymore, The river is dried up, dance to the sand, Living isn't as easy, choking on the ash again. What have we done, what have we created, Walking the shattered mountain and tearful ravine, The sun can't even guide us anymore, Destruction walks our path, should have gone. Eerie sky, and dark night, The breeze burns skin, fire burning. The apocalypse horizon we created, The beauty that we together destroyed. |
