b-days...anniversaries...crap like that..I am the worst. But, seriously....once you hit 21...who honestly cares about b-days? They are for children to celebrate...not grown @ssed adults. Hey mine is Halloween. I celebrate it every year  Oh hey! THAT is easy to remember...my favorite holiday and my girl's b-day...(the only one that I never forget!) Can't wait to hang out with you babydoll! |

I'm one of those "Date-Obsessive" people...I NEVER forget a birthday or anniversary, etc... I ALWAYS hand-craft a card or gift...just a lil something for the ones I care about... Well, yesterday was my sister's birthday & I completely forgot about it...AND WE LIVE TOGETHER!  Egads! She finally reminded me at about 10pm at night, right when I was about to go to bed... Holy moley! Is it senility creeping in? So, my question is: Are you date-obsessive or is it just another day to you? they say the mind is the second thing to go (i do not know who they is but that is what they say) UGH! I have a feeling I know what the FIRST thing to go is... |

I'm one of those "Date-Obsessive" people...I NEVER forget a birthday or anniversary, etc... I ALWAYS hand-craft a card or gift...just a lil something for the ones I care about... Well, yesterday was my sister's birthday & I completely forgot about it...AND WE LIVE TOGETHER! Egads! She finally reminded me at about 10pm at night, right when I was about to go to bed... Holy moley! Is it senility creeping in? So, my question is: Are you date-obsessive or is it just another day to you? they say the mind is the second thing to go (i do not know who they is but that is what they say) UGH! I remember dates. My brother and I both have good memories. His is better than mine. If you want to know when someone died, something happened in history, or how old someone is, he knows. It's like a sponge.

Honestly it is all the same to me. That is to say if someone forgets my B-day it doesn't bother me. I do remember others special days though.

I keep a glossy calendar for bdays and anniversaries and a desk top with everything noted. Somewhat obsessive as it also holds all bdays of animals as well.

I don't celebrate most holidays, actually almost all of them except for two (Halloween and St. Patty's). I even forget my birthday almost every year...so don't be surprised when I forget your birthday, and even then all you get from me is a hug.

Sadly I remember birthday's by peoples zodiacs mostly. I will remember that month and ask the specific date unless it's intermediate family which I pretty much memorized. My mom and brother are 2 days apart so not hard to forget lol.
