Cottage cheese is gross.

have you ever tried lasania(however you spell)
what do you think that white stuff is.... its cottage cheese

Only if it's a cheaply made lasagne.

A properly made one will have Ricotta cheese, not cottage cheese.

i have always used cottage cheese

I know lots of people who have. It's a decent substitute for Ricotta.

I just prefer to use Ricotta.

Of course, when I make lasagne, it's costs me a damn fortune....lol

have you ever tried seafood lasagne.. now that takes time to make, i made it once yrs ago and i ended up giving part of it away to the neighbors

I've never tried it.

It just never sounded appealing to me.

When it comes to cooking, I have a rule that says " If I don't think it sounds good just reading the recipe, I won't bother trying it "...lol

I like low fat cottage cheese with honey.

My Grandfather used to serve it to us kids with a chopped up granny smith apple on the side.

Everytime I eat it I think of my sweet old Grandpa that pased away...smitten
