Hi everyone and thanks for your opinions and keepin it real!

I see this texting thing as a "potential problem" because the 1st month it was 7,000 texts and my eyes were like SPONGEBOB! I was heated!

I told her to cool out with the textin too much, she claims it's her friends that are texting her......and now she is up to 13,000.

I have warned her one more time if she gets any texts over 5000 the texting will be history on her phone. She agrees-we will see.....
I even saw her talking on the phone the other day and I was like WOW!

My plan is to give it thirty (30) more days and it if the texting increases on my next bill-she can say bye-bye to the text world.

Please keep those opinions coming, my daughter is writing down ten (10) reasons she feels she should keep her texting and I am writing down (10) reasons why she needs to calm down or we remove it.

Hummmmmmmmmm texting myself I hate it but it is the in thing now days so as long as it is unlimited texting and not costing you extra and she does what she is suppose to be doing I say let it be.

Well unless it is during the middle of a meal or when your trying to talk to her.

As long as her grades are good, I don't think you should take away anything from your child, that they obviously enjoy to a great deal.

I just upped my plan to 5,000 texts a month. I don't use all of them, but I kept going over my previous limit of 500.

I admit I like to text if I'm in a relationship. Most guys hate it but I've found some who like it or dont mind it.

I say as long as she isn't running up the bill, she isn't a couch potatoe and her grades are good ... let her be. she's a kid and technology is in .. big time

She has a Summer Job, budgets herself well, does her chores (sometimes) and she's not too sassy (cuz u know teenagers can be sassy!) I can work with that, BUT this texting really concerns me-she has 29 more days left and I am in FULL OBSERVATION MODE!!!

I've been good doin' my Internet Radio Show thang! Enjoying my summer, we have had a lot of rain-kind of hard to make outdoor plans-but, I will take the rain, snow, cold and heat because that is what GOD gives me and I shall not complain.

Not true. Think about it. If you're shy, like me, texting is a great thing. technology is what produces most of the money in the world. You can actually learn SOME communication skills and social skills through texting and talking too much on the phone. I agree 13,000 texts a month is a bit too much ... I can't even find the time to rack up that many texts.
