Lucho, It is possible to be numb. You just have to be set on becoming numb. Either that or get burned really bad and the numbness finds you.

Then set standards. Helped me. My numbness only lasted a bit over a year. Felt like a clean slate though

I think it takes awhile to get to know someone and really find out if they are the one for you. If it turns out that they are NOT the one for you have you wasted the time??

I have come to realize that if they and you want to have a real beginning it should START with-in the first month, not wait and plan for your first meet with them six months later. As to wait with great antisapations for that moment in both your hearts,and have it build to THAT POINT, if its not felt as magic as you both thought, it is a waste of heart and time that you both will NEVER get back. So meet, act on it, and see,,,,as soon as you both can. BOTH of you can make a meeting work if you both feel the other worth it...And LOVE wait for no one..to pass it bye.... I did act... Knew her and dated her for 2 years THEN asked her and she said yes... Was in that relationship for 5 years and never did she actually want to 1... discuss it much. Or 2... Set an actual date. So then why would she have said yes? Because AT THAT TIME,,she would have and wanted to,,,BUT,,,,three years later SHE CHANGED HER MIND.... Men and women DO THAT ,,,way to MUCH!!!! But know this man, straight from the heart,,truth. IF SHE WAS THE RIGHT ONE,,,it would have happened, YOU were blessed in THIS way as to not get CRUSHED to death, six months later when you would have came home to catch the mailman putting MORE than MAIL in her BOX, wink,,,,

back to the theme of our broadcast here ... I see a lot of 'waiting' going on IN relationships as well. It is not just a matter of waiting for one to take it to the next level.
