Girl..I'm gonna have to say a big heck yes to this moon thing. There HAS to be some reason for all these wacked out posts. I'm just sitting shaking my head in amazement. Very Odd Indeed.

They say it will be visible over Africa, Europe and South America ... it is not a full Lunar eclipse but one where the moon partially passes through the earth's prenumbral shadow causing a dimming on the south edge of the moon.

I think more importantly the full moon is seen in many traditions as a time to release while the new moon is an opportunity to birth new ideas.

Eclipses supposedly just makes the influences stronger, longer lasting and farther reaching.

This full moon is in Aquarius ... and the energy of Aquarius is one of personal responsibility and of humanity ...

I love kicking back in the chair on a full moon. Unfortunately, we're under a burn ban some no bonfire.

I would sooner think it is in relation to when people get paid and have or don't have money to act stupid. January is always more domestic violence because the bills from the holidays and increaseing utilities. Crime goes up when heat waves hit.

as i look lakeward....the yellow orb lights the trees on fire on the top of the hill, and casts a veinular black outline on the monsterous dead tree in front of my view of it, where a mourning dove is now sitting. forever singing, ddooweeww! doww... doww.. doww.

the water and it's currents and breezes, moving like unseen ghosts, ever moving the sparkles like golden living velvet across a liquid abyss of black, with silver flashes from lights of houses, their beams shining out in single lines to one's vision, as the tiny ripples break up and distort the lines from becoming fully linear....

One far away piano hauntingly plays franz liszt's "Evening", as it seems to have come all the way through time to us, from the first part of this century, broken up by gentle breezes, ripples lapping the shore, and the trees gently hissing like rainsticks in the wind, but more tattered from leaves pipping together.

the sky is a blue-black warm looking panarama of moonglow, with indifferently sprinkled stars, fighting for recognition of being seen just for our heart to lift, as these jewel's light gently tickle's our atmosphere, after travelling countless light years to put on a show just for our souls to remember this night to bring us together as the tribes of old would gather just to gaze and reflect.......and to dream.............

Oh! I might have to run out to White Sands for the "full moon night" extended park hours...if you ever get a chance to be there when the moon rises over the white dunes, take it! It's awesome!

yea, I've read that one too, there are alot of different articles on the net with both sides.. I guess it's all about our personal perspectives, like every thing else. I do monthly full moon fires (Shamanism) and put more energy into it than most.

Theres the reason, all that energy is affecting the people, its not that the time of the full moon is doing it, it that people are doing at the time of the full moon...

Just a guess, not a diss.
