I hope she doesn’t shoot me for ruining her poem.

Wondering what has happened,
and why I feel this way...

A bit betrayed, a bit forlorn,
and not even sure why.

I wish I could tell you how I feel!
I wish I could let you know why!

But I can't because you don't hear me.
I can't because you don't care.

My head uncertain about all things.
Trusting and feeling alone.

Wondering what tomorrow brings,
but not really ever knowing...

Where did I go wrong?
What is it about me that's so unappealing?

What did I ever do wrong to you?
I can't be anything but me!

I'm sorry if that isn't good enough;
sometimes it's not even for me.

But still I deserve something better than this
I deserve to be loved...

I so appreciate your songs, the ability you have to synchronize heartfelt palpitations with the words. I find myself harmonizing softly. Her words are deeply felt in this way. I appreciate your sensitivity to embrace her heart in this manner.

I just kind of did this ad-lib with the music. It actually turned out not too bad. With practice it could sound like a real song.

With a real singer it could be a real song.

How real do you think it has to be? Often I feel you sell yourself short, too quickly. Your audience is not complaining..and it is obvious you have a following here on this site..
