if someone cant come up with a better night than going to eat dirt burgers then they realy dont deserve your time snarky.

from your posts its obvious that your very inteligent, or at least very educated, if i saw you in a date dress and in mc d`s, i bet you`d look very bored and in need of rescueing.

i would guess most would prefer a walk by something prety like a river, and a conversation wich drifted from serious to stupid/funny
then an activity wich was entertaining. bowling is a cliche, but its good fun, i always laugh and feel those types of thing show people who you realy are.

films and music, to me, are second dates

That would be much closer to right, yeah. My ideal first date? Combing the city's used bookstores for good finds, then sitting with our treasures over coffee, discussing them and our favorite books.

THAT? Would be heaven. But... I don't expect to ever actually get that. This isn't self-pity, either. Simply fact.

Course, at the moment, with my face all busted up, I'm not really in the place where I expect to even be asked to McDonalds. laugh

And thank you for the compliments. embarassed

Cussler's books are just good fun to read. I have always found Dirk Pitt to be a much more fun character than James Bond.

His new ones with Kurt Austin are pretty good too.

Hell..I have even read the Sea Hunters books that told the stories of the shipwrecks Cussler has tried to find or has found.

I have read almost all of the Grisham novels too....lol

Dean Koontz....check.

Stephen King...check....except for the new one.

I think a " date " like that would be an absolutely great idea. Well..except for the coffee part...lmao

But, I have the same problem that Snarky does. I have yet to find anyone anywhere NEAR me that would agree.

I always like to start at the park for a long trek around the jogging paths (walking fast is ok) then on to the rest of the date, dinner, and/or movie, bookstore, coffee there are aot of choices. Some men do not like the exercise part....hmmm....couch potato's? I have to have someone at least as active as I am.

I like going to the pub and getting pissed. No better setting to get chatting.

Unless she is a nun or something.

If it was a nun, i would take her to the park and go on the swings instead.

But i would turn up drunk.
