Apparently it was when Dubya was in office, when did that change?

edit: guess I was beat to it.

Does anyone else find it funny that the arguments by either side are 180'd from what they were two years ago?

Obama or congress never fully explained the health care bill thats going on. Personally, I like my insurance right now because instead of paying 300 dollars a month for one medicine, its only $30.

So if the health care bill passes, what happens to mine? Will it change, or stay the same? Nobody has explained that yet. mad

O'rielly and hannity are my heros...but I am not about to argue with y'all today...

those two scare the hell out of me.

why cuz they put it out there like it is...sometimes the truth is very scary...the health care plan is scary as hell I think that is the big problem

no, it is not their idea of truth that scares me..

In my circle they are called.. Oh really and Insanity..

I don't want to argue either...it's my day for rest.

flowerforyou

we all have our own opinion...to me they are not afraid to tell the rest of the story...the media does not own them

If the media didn't own them do you really think they'd be allowed on the air? Heck no they wouldn't! If they didn't toe the company line they'd be fired along with anyone else who dared to dissent. Look what happened with Glenn Beck, he was gonna expose the FEMA prison camps throughout this country, and what happened? All of a sudden he backed down from the story, you think that was a coincidence?

You have to realize, who really owns the media, and in the case of "Faux" News, namely one Rupert Murdoch. Those that own the media, have all the power, they control what gets promoted and what doesn't. Anyone who is in the public eye, especially when it comes to news is only there cause they are allowed to be. They are all expendable, if one wishes to truly rebel, then someone who won't can easily take their place.

Follow the money, where it goes, so does the power, and that power is in the hands of a select few right now.

If you haven't seen it yet, you should check out the documentary from a few years back called "Outfoxed", it talks all about Fox News and how they do business.

I see now the new fearmongering attempt coming from the Republicans is that if National Health care gets approved people will lose their health care. slaphead

Gotta love it!!!!

it's true...it's right in the house version...if you change jobs...get a new job...get fired...whatever...and this bill is passed and in place for 1 year...employers will no longer be able to admit " new "...participants in their healthcare plans...they will be randomly enrolled in the government plan...it's right on page 16...

drinker It also states that you will not be able to change your plan. So those of us with hopes of possibaly being married again someday will not be able to add a spouse to our plan that we can keep.

Sorry, but I think hannity and O'reilly are just as bad as olberman and the crew at MSNBC. i don't trust any of them and they do nothing but push agendas. It's just they are curently aligning with my economic ideals to an extent.

There should be a group of people who write the bill in "normal" speak and put it on the net so voters and normal people can actually understand whats being passed.

Section 102 states in subparagraph B that dependents may be added onto an existing plan so long as that plan was active at the start of the timeframe.

That document is some scary ****... I think I need to sit down and read one night because page 16 seems too blantant of a grab not to cause an uproar. There has to be some part that allows new enrollment somewhere in that.

Where can one find an online source to read this? I hear its 13,000 pages, if that is true then no one really knows what is in this thing. Except for what senators and congressmen and women have written, they only know what they put in it. I wish there was a honorable politician whop would take this to a University and let the political science department read it and give feed back on it.

like all mainstream media, Fox is entertainment, not "news" in the traditional sense.
