as i meet more and more people on dating site , it starting to seem more and more a waste of time . this site is pretty cool but not many floks on here that i came across are tring to date . or even for that matter looking , maybe it just me. and that cool but i just saying i guess i turly am just a one of kind weirdo , any rate i just want to see if there any folks out there that feel the same

I havent been here long, but I have noticed that mingle doesnt seem to be a dating site, (for me at least.) I will say that some great friendships have come out of mingle2 that I greatly appreciate.

Post more in the forums, people. You can't have a low number of posts and expect instant results. If you post in the forums, you will have a chance to get to know people- and find out if they're interested in dating or even better, if they're interested in dating YOU. I've said before that this site- and any other dating site really- depends on who you are and what you're looking for, but I'll amend that; it also depends on how much work you put into it. I'm not trying to date anyone (as my profile clearly says) but I've been here a while, I have over 5000 posts (yay me!!!) and I've gotten to know quite a few people, many of them single men. I'm pretty sure if I really wanted to date someone and wasn't too picky, I could get one together. And I'm not that fabulous by a long shot. So trust me, it can be done! It has been done, read the success story threads.

Anyway, hang out in the forums, talk to people, get to know them, then you too can be a success story. Woooohoooo!!!!

ad for the whole dating site for dating some people have fallen in love or you can look at it as a laid back dating site.i think ive been on this site for years now almost and i can say its made more comfortable being single and talking to guys..

i think the more you post the more you will see there are single people on here but you need to be social and join in to have better luck

Thank, I do stick my nose in about daily. Sadly I was always taught if ya got nothing to say, don't say anything at all. LAWL, that is usually why I will just read a forum and keep my fat mouth shut and move along.

Either way I know I am fairley new and my post count is small, but I am speaking from just what I have found out as of yet. I haven't given up yet Calleigh :P I am still here waiting patiently for my turn to be a success story. :)

Good, you're doing the right thing. It doesn't matter if you don't have anything earth-shattering to say (read some of my posts on here, haha), but it's just a good way to "mingle" for lack of a better word. I think a lot of people think if they post a profile, people will automatically view them, get hooked on them, email them, meet in real life and get married/date/whatever.

Nooooo...I've noticed the more I post in the forums, the more views I get. The more I post in the forums, the more profiles I want to view myself. There's tons of people on here looking, make yourself stand out. Make them say, wow who was that who made that weird/cool/stupid/interesting post??? I gotta look!!!

I guess I don't understand what you're asking, are you asking if no one on here is interested in dating? If so, the answer is no. If you look at profiles, you'll see some are interested in dating/friendship/intimate encounters/marriage. It varies. Just because you're encountering several people who aren't interested in dating, doesn't mean they aren't some who are.

Hmmm, I find the forums to be rather personal. Unless you mean private, in which case you have email. But I prefer the forums, it's far more entertaining, for me. I guess everyone has a preference. I guess you could try actual chat rooms, but ewwwwwwwwwwww, LOL

that the big reason i started using dating sites i have no paneints it a good way for to stay a way from 30 seconds or less relationship
