I gave Uncle Sugar nine long years in the Army. I got out in 92. What do you wanna know? It's changed a lot in the 17 years since I got out.

Is there anyone else who is curently or has been in the army or any other branch of servive let me know I served 3 years in the Army when I was a young girl right out of high school...yeah, a long time ago. I was a Medic. Great experience for me and I'm glad I did it. |

I enlisted on my 30th birthday and spent 6 years in the military
I was in a special detail charged with hunting down people who didn't believe in serving this country. |

Did you like your experince? I just enlisted yesterday Yes, I have many good memories of the 9 yrs. I've been to foreign countries that my peers have only dreamed of, and I've drank with many good people. I did my first 3 yrs down in Texas, then got out, then 16 months later went back in. Did 2 more yrs in Louisiana, then was sent to Germany for 2 1/2 yrs. Spent 5 months in Saudi/Iraq/Kuwait, then was shipped back to Germany. Spent 3 more months there, and then was transferred to Georgia for my last year. |

My last 6 yrs, I was a 19K. M1 Tank Crewman. When I got out, I was a Sergeant, waitng on my E-6 stripes, but they never came, so I got out. |
