As for my favorite Medieval "Swords and Sorcery" type movie I love those related to King Arthur and his knights. If, however, you remove the designation Medieval I'd be more inclined to choose the Lord of the Rings.

Any of the Harry Potter stories are my favorites in fantasy novels of late. I do reread the Hobbit and LOTR, they have been classics a long time for me.

I can't say I've ever played a roleplaying computer game.

The Fenris Wolf:Totem of Respect. Tribal Totem to the Fenris, this totem demands much of his children. Over a thousand years a go, the Norse peoples spoke of the ravening Wolf-God Fenris, a beast even the other gods feared. Powerful, blood thirsty, he neither gives nor expects quarter. He is a warrior's totem, and disdains weakness of any kind. Therefor he only chooses packs whose purposes is that of frequently soaking their blades, claws and teeth in the blood of their foes.

Packs worthy of Fenris become hard in their physical abilities, and are given their Glory known for taking Fenris up as their totem. The Get will respect followers of their tribal totem, a little more than most "outsiders". But they will test them, and test them often, sending them on savage Wild Hunts and battles against powerful enemies.

Now my friend you know this is possible! You are of viking heritage in real life. What a great choice for you! A barbarian it shall be! Yes of course I can make something happen. Lately I have only been drawing elves the whole time.

Actually the Tribal Totem to the Fenris is a choice you can have when playing "Age of Mythology". That is if you choose to be one of the gods such as Odin or Thor in this game. It is a great game to play for those who like to build towns and defend it against either the Egyptians or the Greeks mythology gods and goddesses!

i've only been in larp, loosely, and in the quarter of new orleans. i was ventrue-malkavian primogen of the city, and i guess i still am.

That is one awesome picture of you! Wow you should be in a movie or something. Seriously you should apply! Those medieval or norse movies always need good looking warriors, barbarians, vikings in them. Great job!

Who would not be terrified to see a viking? They have created a big mark in and almost all of Europe and beyond such as even Northern Africa in their times.

A great movie is "Pathfinder". It actually shows how the vikings where in the Americas long before Christopher Columbus.

They where ruthless warriors that EVERY nation has heard of and feared.

They also had quiet a few other positive and great inventions and ethics that I think made a difference in society later even. Too bad that is mention enough concerning the heritage. Well I am probably not saying anything you don't know already, but I always get excited when it comes to Norse Mythology. Very interesting indeed.
