Such a small word
Too often heard
Wielding such power

The mere whisper of it can
Blow you out of the water
With the high velocity force
Of a deadly tsunami

Across the wasteland
Left behind in the wake
Of this relentless
Devastation

Your confidence
Shattered

In the furies

A gentle sigh

As a blessing

I'm so tired of some one saying those words to me. I often sit and wonder how many good bye's does it take, to break some one? I ges the answer is diferent for every one.

Truly there is NEVER a goodbye, WE SHOULD ALL SAY,,sadbye,or badbye,,because leaving anyone you adore,,is,MISSED very much..

So many goodbyes SAID to me only as a plow to NOT leave,,,,and many said in haste that later changed back to stay..

Yea, Goodbyes, the worse goodbye ever is when I have to take my kids home after a weekend with me. Ever seen a grown man cry?

When mine were four and six and I had to do that same thing,,,they would start to cry and then I would as I was kissing and hugging them goodbye, a year later, my ex granted me custidy of them both, and only one was my biological child, wink. I never looked back...I hope you and yours make it to your best days together..

of the devastation",
A trembling breath
racks through the body
as shocked numbed lungs
somehow remember to
expand/contract/expand/contract.

Eyelids held open with
gritty granules of dried tears
somehow remember to blink,
as brain silently pleads
"no, oh plea-eaaase,
no more memories"
uncontrollably cascading down my face!

Limbs
s-l-u-g-g-i-s-h-l-y r-e-s-p-ond
to blood brutishly coursing through
a body that knows it mu----st k-ee-p moo-v-ing.

WHY-iiiiiiiiiiiiiii????????
wails a brain
that really and truly
desires no response.

Clocks tick,
babies, puppies, and plants are born
AND



The imperceptible chrysalis
of grief bursts open
REVEALING
The new and improved
