...that, with every new discovery science uncovers about our world and existence,
they insist all the more sternly that all "THIS" simply "happened"?
...that they are all the more god-like, simply because they discovered it?
frustrated frustrated frustrated
I'm in the science field, and personnaly, I don't feel god-like when a new atom or sub-atomic particle is discovered, it's EXCITING!! I want to help figure the answers for all of existence, not have them handed to me....is that not a waste of a life? As for your comment that all of "THIS" merely "happened", this is all we can tell so far: roughly 15 billion years ago the universe emerged from an infinitely small focal point, all the forces we perceive today; i.e. the gravitational, the electro-magnetic and the strong and weak nuclear forces were all combined, inseperable. Time passes as it must do and the universe cooled from temperatures as high as 15 TRILLION TRILLION degress and the first particles emerged, electrons, protons and soon neutrons (though they have a very short half-life) and of course photons. When the universe cooled enough, electrons could finally bind to protons to get, yes HYDROGEN! Did you know that approximetly 78% of the observable universe is Hydrogen? And what makes stars sustain their fusion reactions? HYDROGEN! The fusion process forms every element up to IRON with the later elements arising from the tremendous energy released in SUPER-NOVA.

This is some of what thousands of people have discovered or theorized through painstaking work across the generations. And it kinda points to the conclusion that yes, this all just happened!

What sparked the focal point? We don't know yet, let's try and DISCOVER IT!
Sorry for the rant:tongue:
