Exactly! My roommate is a great example of that. He still cracks up over my "antics" sometimes (like just today I was mumbling under my breath "Seriously... cereal... Frosted Flakes") , but mostly he gets me. Still, he and I just aren't compatible. Pfft.

I had a guy that would perv my profile every so often but would never say a word. So finally I sent him an email telling him if he kept perving me I was gonna want a ring. It took him a couple days...but he actually emailed back, now we're getting to be pretty good friends. He's a really nice guy, though he's all the way on the other side of the country. I've had a couple other ones though that I guess didn't appreciate my sense of humor. Oh well.

Yeah :) A good friend of mine lives in Canada. He emailed me today asking how my day went. When I told him what happened, he replied with "Only you, babe, only you" lol

When I first joined mingle, I took the time to fill out my profile, I had several current pics of me, listed my interests, blah blah. You know what? No one cared. I got a few views, a few misguided emails, but that's it.

Men go by the pics, they could care less what's written in the profile. Perfect example- my profile clearly says I'm here for friends; a few days ago, all I had up was pic of my legs. So I get an email from some really intelligent individual who wants my yahoo messenger, tells me how "sensual" my legs look, explains how sensual he is in bed (yeah he really liked that word) and how much he wants to meet me. Oh really??? So I wrote him back and asked him why he even came at me like that, since my profile CLEARLY SAYS ONLY HERE FOR FRIENDS. He was pretty cool about it and apologized, but I was like, seriously????

So now I have pics of bunnies, I list my interests as bunnies, and I have an interesting quote on my profile. If anyone wants to talk to me, they can go by my "winning personality" on the forums, not from some "sensual pic"- which isn't that sensual at all.

LOL! Problem is, it's so hard to explain to anyone what Paganism is, because it's so... VAST. I mean, no two Pagans are gonna be at all alike in belief system, let a lone how we practice that belief. Ugh.

And Dan, no. I am not a witch. Just a Celtic Pagan.

i used to get emails with phone numbers and the message "call me" so i blocked the senders then i tweaked my profile now i dont get any emails. ah well....c'est la vie
