my first love was my high school sweetheart and i still see him on occasion. our daughters (who are the same age) happened to swim on the same team for a couple of years and ending up being friends.

i remember the actual day we met, where we met, his birthday, his cologne, the house he lived in and the address, the first time we kissed.

Wow let's see, first true love? Petite with long blond hair, bubble butt, gorgeous green eyes that would make me melt! And the sex could never be reproduced. We're not in touch but we keep tabs on each other vicariously through mutual friends. (sigh)!

I was maybe 8 and she lived across the street from me. I remember hiding in the bushes along side her house once and trying to kiss like they did on TV. As I recall we didn't like it and never tried it again. We made a pact that if we weren't married when we were grown up that we would marry each other. She moved a year or so later to other end of the country. I don't think I have spoken with her since we were children, though I a few years ago I saw her when she returned for her grandfather's funeral. I didn't know who she was until after the fact. Last I knew she was happily married and living in Texas.

I've been talking with my first girlfriend last few days, it's brought back a lot of memories. We had a lot of great times together though we were only really together but a few months. Got me to thinking, what do you remember about your firsts, and are you today or were you still in touch with them as friends afterward?
 dont remember:smile:

My first true love was in high school and we went together almost 3 yrs. He was a yr older and when he graduated he moved to Ca and when I graduated I got married.. Didn't see him for a long time. He taught me how to make beautiful, passionate love and I and thanked him for that.. Last time I saw him , he was in a coma from a drug overdose and died a few months later..tears He will always have a place in my heart...

Honestly, only thing I remember was coming home and finding her and my best friend doin the nasty in my bed. I almost flipped up untill one of his buddies dragged me outside and wouldn't let me go untill they both were gone. I haven't talked to either of them since.

What I remember about my first love......
His smell. He had this fantastic unique smell. It wasn't cologne, but it was a good smell. Odd, but true.

I maintain contact with my first love. Today her and I are not the same people we were back then. We are worlds apart in everything but our memories of what we shared. We are very good friends and nothing more.

I suppose I ought to share a couple memories of my own here. One I'll always remember, was this one night we were in her car in front of my house. It was one of those moments where time stops, and nothing else exists but the two of you you know what I mean? Well anyway, I was looking at her, she was looking at me, and I wanted to kiss her so badly, it felt so right to do it. But I was a wuss, and I just couldn't do it lol. I kicked myself after the fact for not taking initiative though it didn't matter to her as much as it did me lol. She later ended up kissing me first as it turned out.

I'll always remember that though, the night I chickened out lol.

The other thing I really remember, was writing a poem for her on our one month anniversary. I had never done anything of the sort before, but I decided to do it for her, since it would mean more then a normal gift, coming from the heart. When she came over I read it to her and she just loved it, and always has remembered it. I still have it in my drawer here close by some 4 years later.

I think back to that sometimes still can't believe I came up with the poem that I did, never knew I had in me before then. It's funny what love can make one do isn't it?
