I've met a few good friends off this site whom I talk too frequently, it has given me a place to put down my thoughts and get opinions on them...and when I meet up with some of these people they will know I'm really not all that different in real life, just better at scaring off people. 
Speaking of scary....lol Our resident Cannibal Clown is coming back around on the Calm Chaos forums. You and he might be able to trade recipes...lmao |

I am so incredibly happy right now. Ok, so a lot of things in my life are stressing me right now and I’m feeling forced to make decisions I am not ready to make, but I have something now that means so much more to me thanks to this site. 
No, it’s not a man. I guess I should say it’s not a woman either for those of you with an open mind.
It really doesn’t matter to anyone but me what it is. All that matters is that something that is a major part of me, that my mother has repeatedly made me feel inadequate about, is being appreciated and complimented by others on here and I am so happy and grateful.
Ok… so posts are supposed to get people thinking and communicating about how they feel. So, my question to all is…  Other than the obvious “I met someone…” (it IS a “dating” site), what else has this site done for you?
 E.g.:
- Helped you open up more to others - Validated your opinions on something - Helped you be a better debater - Opened your mind to other ways of thinking or feeling - etc… A HUGE thank you to those who have made me feel this way! 
Honestly I don't know. Has this site done anything or everything? Would my life be where it is right now without Mingle? I started here in March, when I left my girlfriend. And since my life has been crazy. I am now moving from Tennessee back home to Ohio. I was working an awesome job making a lot of money and since "quit" due to "mental" issues which are now since turned into, "I couldn't stand the people I worked with because all they did was talk bad about me" and I have met so many wonderful people that I honestly do not believe I could go a day without getting on here and saying hi to one of you. How friggin amazing is that?! Thank you all. Even the ops. Cuz I am now friends with one of them!

Soon i figured out that a large majority of the people in my area ( and there's not many) have not been active in a long time & the others don't respond. Initially i joined JSH for dating purposes, i typed "local dating" in Google & it came up with JSH so i joined. Soon i figured out that a large majority of the people in my area ( and there's not many) have not been active in a long time & the others don't respond. I noticed the forums, started posting , had some fun & made a lot of friends, most of them are on my friends list on Face book , as far as dating it has been completely useless. Ditto!

Aside from the obvious, it has given me hours of laughter, taught me more about people, women particularly, and introduced me to a couple of wonderful friends.

About a year after my separation I started coming here.... primarily just to be 'around' people. Those first couple of years of separation and divorce can be tough if you don't have a large circle of friends.
This place has brought me a few friends and given me a place to 'be' when I needed a place to be. And it has allowed me to meet some people that I would never have run across in the course of my daily routine. There are some really extraordinary people here from every walk of life and every corner of the globe (odd, since it's a sphere). So yes, I'd say I have found value here. |
