The problem is "You cant trust the goverment to do anything right and you cant trust the people to do everything right"........ 
hear hear What a nightmare. I respect a parents decision, everyone wants to do whats best for their children some are just working with bad information. The truth is that vaccinations save lives, it is a fact. The majority of people vaccines are safe, effective means to controlling communicable diseases. I can't even imagine how scary it must have been to raise kids back when measles/mumps/pertussis/polio/meningitis ran rampant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6LTvhIR-Vz4&feature=fvst Why vaccinate? Why not let it run it's course?
Because its to dangerous, anyone of those diseases can kill a child or debilitate the child for life. |

All vaccines do is infect the child with hopes his immune system kicks in sooner than without it. Vaccines, medicines containing a preparation of weakened or dead microbes of the kind that cause a particular disease, are administered to stimulate the immune system to produce antibodies against that disease. They are used to force the body's white blood cells to develop a response to the specific pathogen and rid the body of the invading microorganisms.
Immunization can occur naturally when an untreated microbe is received by a person who has not yet come into contact with the microbe and has no pre-made antibodies for defense. The immune system will eventually create antibodies for the microbe, but this is a slow process and, if the microbe is deadly, there may not be enough time for the antibodies to begin being used. Artificial active immunization was created to boost the immune system's abilities to more quickly respond. In this process the microbe is injected into the person before they have been exposed to take it in naturally. The microbe to be used in the vaccine is treated to weaken it, so that it will not harm the infected person. Depending on the type of disease, this technique also works with dead microbes, parts of the microbe, or treated toxins from the microbe. This is the purpose of vaccine. |

Now that you mention it, I do find a source of amusement in the idea, that all these commercial plead with you to save and protect your child by pumping them full of Thimerosol, detergents, chicken proteins and dead/live virus'. Now if the vaccine is suppose to protect those that take it, wouldn't those pumped full of these virus' in fact be the ones risking the lives of those whose parents decided not to expose them to the vaccinations?
So take the vaccines to save your kids, but if your kids don't get them, everyone supposed to believe the nonvaccinated kids are the risk? |

Yeah when a pandemic breaks out everyone can blame it us parents for not getting our kids shots...
those who think these shots are the right thing to do need to do some research. As a young mother I got my oldest son all his.. then I did research. No way was I going to do it with my other 2 boys and didn't. They are grown up now, have never caught anything nor passed anything around. |
