Because men don’t know how to be honest with out sounding like a jack ***. No offence. I have found, in my own practical experience, it takes practice, patience -- and empathy in order to be honest about something negative, or something hurtful to another person... It's easy to be honest when it's positive, nice and what the person wants to hear. It is a skill to be able to be honest with tact, patience and understanding when it is not so nice, positive... all be it constructive... So basically, I agree with ^^, but not just in men -- but with people in general...

Why do women say they want men to be honest and then get pissed when they are? This is completely from experience!  I wish more men would be honest. Sure, the truth can hurt, but it's better than being lied to. That is what I thought too, but it is very confusing! As other people have said, it comes down to how you're being honest. If you're being honest, but being an a$$hole it isn't going to go well. |
