is the real problem that the whites feel there power slipping away.

The real problem is that it is still viewed as a need to take power from the whites. It shouldn't be an issue of race as her nomination clearly was. It was made clear when the search began that he was looking for a minority and possibly a woman who would be "Sympathetic".

i was raised in Alabama. one senator that was asking her questions, was senator Jeff sessions, this is the same man who in the 70s said blacks did not need the right to vote, so for him to call her a racists is being a hypocrite.

could be, but then again people can use the reason that she is a woman...maybe the men are threatened??????

I don't know a lot about the woman except what I read about her

that and I BELIEVE her views on gun control....as well as a case she tried about reverse discrimination that didn't settle well with people

I believe these reasons are the main reasons people are contesting her. yes some it might be because of race or gender...but for the most part I believe it these other reasons

Alabama ... isn't that the state that George Wallace and "Bull" Connor are from? Certainly you remember George Wallace, the Democrat governor who stood in the schoolhouse door to symbolically prevent integration, right? Or "Bull" Connor, the Democrat Public Safety Commissioner of Birmingham (and KKK member) who turned the firehoses on black civil rights demonstrators? Hmmm ... seems to me that's where they're from, yep.

She is racist. Her comment showed that.
She is anti-2nd ammendment.
She is pro-open borders and granting amnesty to illegals.
IMO, judges should go by Rule of Law and the Constitution, and not by their opinions.

oh speaking of racist. Jeff sessions said in the 70s blacks don't need to have the right to vote. and he called her a racist. what do we call that hypocrite.

Her voting record is what I am looking at. Not what she says in this nomination process...it is always a dog and pony show.

please tell me how my last statement even came close to calling you a racist. i was raised in Alabama. Jeff sessions is another George c Wallace.he said in the 70s he did not think blacks had the right to vote. the reason must don't like her is because of her views on abortion, they call it murder. the law of the land says otherwise.

What does her gender have to do with it?

Way to many peoplel livin in the past... (Predjudice is or it is not...)

I am not threatened since any decision she may influence will not effect me much.

However that decision WILL effect my grandchildren...

How can I have predjudge-u-dus about that... I have no idea what sub race my grand-children will have within their DNA simply that they will be human.

Read it again, he is not calling you a racist, he is saying when you call someone a racist when you yourself are a racist, that is hypocritical.
