I had facebook for about 4 months, what a joke. I added a few close friends, then it wants to keep pusing you to make friends of other friends.... friends DUH!!! These are people I have no clue who they are and really don't give a crap. deleted my account. Useless unless you really just want to totally waste a lot of time. Im with this dude.. I have had facebook over a year. I thought that id run into some people from childhood, but no. I have some friends on there, big deal.. people can text me if they want me. I dont want to make friends with random people that know someone I know.. wierd. And I tried to search for/find old friends from the past... tried every option.. never found a one. I'd rather be here!!!! My space had been a good way to meet men.. .. men who have girlfriends, and are married. WEE! |

I love FB. I only have people on my list that are friends and family. My personal information is on there, so I do not accept people that I do not personally know. I have all my filters set to just my friends only, and some of them even more restrictive. I do not play any of the games on there so I do not need to collect friends to build any city, farm, family or stuff like that...some people do and that is their choice... I love the fact that I can up load pics and all of the people that I want to see them can!! easy... it is like one stop for me...easy!! I love it!! |

Basically, it is nothing but an information gathering site.
I mean the people running the site doing the gathering. Then they sell the information... How do you think they pay to run the site!! Web hosting isn't free. |

I love FB. I only have people on my list that are friends and family. My personal information is on there, so I do not accept people that I do not personally know. Web hosting isn't free. Nope, it sure is not!! and to think of the bandwidth they must be pulling down!! WooZerS!!! anywho...they also have lots of advertisers and crap running around there so I have my firewalls and my bot spies..and my virus hunter controller...and all that stuff.. I always clean every thing out after I visit the site...and to tell you the truth...I get more junk mail from yahoo than anywhere...besides, I also use gmail and I just am not bothered by any junk mail for the most part... but I am sure they do make a buck or two selling emails...I tend to think they make more off of the advertisers...there are millions of people on that site.. to each their own though.... |

When my Mother had a heart attack, I went on Face book to tell all my Cousins, and Aunts/Uncles.
Everything was going great, I had everyone joining each other, was having a blast.. for a few months. But then! It happened.. The family War! Who would have seen this coming. Come to find out my Grandmother gave me Family Photo book. Which then means NO one else had these pictures. All of a sudden These family members that i have not seen in over 30/35yrs started telling me I have to give them there pictures. If i would have taken out all the original pictures my book would be empty.. and Yes i could have made copy's but this book is hand made with leather. all the pic were glued in on both sides so to take a picture out it would affect the other one on the back side. Anyway, I paid for trying to get to know my Mothers Family, NO Wonder she kept me away from them all. Then i found this place and I have been very happy. Face Book can bring a family together it can also Make a Family war! |

i got on facebook last year and about a million ex girlfriends found me
 . some were pleasant to talk to again. others were very stalkerish. now i just use it to play mafia wars. i "affect" thousands by making hitlist kills and they ask me to join their mafia instead of killing them. |

myspace tagged I like mingle2 and facebook alot. tagged you keep getting friend requests and messages from "female" scammers wanting to hookup on yahoo for cybersex. myspace is just there, bit I do keep in touch with friends on there. |

Face Book can bring a family together it can also Make a Family war! I ran into this problem a couple of years ago, and I wasn`t on any type of a "website". I found some family pictures from WWII. To make a long story short, I lent them to my Uncle.(He is the surviving brother of my Mom`s 2 other brothers and 2 other sisters.There were 6 kids in the family). He in turn was not to fond of my cousin that I aksed him to please give the pictures back to for me.(I was in a physical therapy rehab center at this time for having broken my right leg.) Talk about the chitt hitting the fan. I`m the black sheep in my family from both sides of the family. Go figure. |
