i thought you could only get it from pigs but what do i know I dunno But i bet you know a lot of pigs. |

I guess i could handle that for a few days. You may(or may not) remember i thought i had the flu at the end of last year. It turned out to be Hepatitis, which is probably much worse than Swine Flu, i was laid up for weeks(and hospitalised). To be honest i dont know a lot about Swine Flu, i havent taken much noticed of it. But now it seems to be getting closer to me, i need to learn more! I can imagine Hepatitis is much worse! There's really not much to know about swine, except it's a particularly fast-spreading, contagious strain of the flu. If you, suddenly, get a sore throat, cough, fever, body aches etc, then you've probably got something worse than a cold and should see a doctor. The flu comes on pretty suddenly, one minute you're fine, the next you're sick. I took I think 2 1/2 days off of work, went back for one day, and was grateful that the weekend came up after that. By the next week, except for being really worn out, I was pretty much back to normal. |

the flu is the flu what makes this one so special? Some strains of the flu are worse than others. Some make you sicker and some spread more easily. I dont know if this strain is special or not, but id rather not get it and find out. |

All I will say is this, be very wary of any vaccines for this.

the flu is the flu what makes this one so special? It's special because it attacks healthy people. The regular flu usually attacks the very young and the old and the unhealthy people. That makes this flu more unpredictable. |
